Description

Karakuchi Honjozo Tanadagohyakumangoku is a dry (karakuchi) honjozo sake from Hikami Seishu in Okuizumo, Shimane, brewed from terraced-paddy-grown Gohyakumangoku rice. Gohyakumangoku, a widely cultivated sake rice variety prized for its light, clean fermentation, contributes a crisp, dry profile with restrained sweetness and a sharp finish. A small addition of distilled alcohol at brewing further sharpens the dry character and aroma.
