Description

Fukugao's Usuya Junmai Daiginjo uses Koshi Tanrei, a Niigata-native sake rice, polished to 50% at this 1897-founded Sanjo City brewery, the sole sake producer in its city, and is hand-pressed by the drip (shizuku-shibori) method using only rice grown in Sanjo. Named under the original Usuya brand that the brewery carried at founding, this premium expression uses only the most locally sourced ingredients for the fullest expression of Sanjo's sake identity.
