Description
Hoshina Junmaisyu from Iiyama Shuzo in Nagano takes its name from the Hoshina area, a historically significant district in Nagano with connections to the Hoshina clan who were feudal lords in the region. Brewed as a pure junmai without added alcohol, it draws on northern Nagano's cold mountain water and long fermentation seasons to produce a sake with honest rice character and a clean, gentle finish. The local naming reflects the brewery's deep roots in the regional landscape and history of the Nagano mountains.
