Description

The Echigo no Yukiwarisou (Niigata Snow-Breaking Primrose) Honjozo Namacho from Fukugao Sake Brewery in Sanjo City, Niigata, is a nama-chozo (unpasteurized cellar-stored) expression named after the delicate spring flower that pushes through Niigata's heavy snow. Brewed with Gohyakumangoku rice at 60% polish and the brewery's extra-soft Ikarashi River water, it preserves fresh, raw-sake vitality through cold storage before seasonal release.
