Description
Honjouzou Yamatokozuchi is a honjozo sake from Izawa Honke in Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's most historically significant sake-producing regions. Hyogo is home to the Nada district, the source of some of Japan's most celebrated sake, and produces much of the Yamadanishiki rice used by premium breweries nationwide. A small addition of distilled brewers' alcohol gives this honjozo its characteristic clean body and crisp finish.

The Izawa Honke uses Yamada Nishiki in addition to Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo Prefecture, and Yamada Nishiki, which is grown by himself, is used for sake. Inami -cho, which has a sake brewery, is characterized by its rich culture and is a perfect environment for making sake. In this Inami -cho, we will build sake with traditional sake manufacturing methods that have been handed down since ancient times.
