Part of Udezumo Shuzo's Koshukyokakuhaku series in Yamanashi, this sake takes its name from a celebrated local hero of the Meiji Restoration era. The brewery, founded in 1924 in Misaka, combines regional identity with straightforward sake craftsmanship.

스모와 팔씨름에 매우 강했던 것으로 알려져 있으며, 강한 술이 되기를 바라는 마음을 담아 '팔씨름(우데즈모)'이라는 이름을 붙였습니다. 최근에는 다이긴조 '미와노 미카도', 코슈 교진 시리즈 '쿠로마노 시조', 그리고 마을의 미와 신사에서 유래한 '타케이노 우탄' 등의 브랜드도 선보이고 있습니다.
