다이쇼 11년, 지역 현공사와 가모 신사의 신주 술 양조장으로 창업하였습니다. 이후 지역민들의 사랑을 받는 고품질 사케를 양조해 왔으며, 근래에는 지역 쌀과 현 내산 쌀만으로 빚는 순미 사케, 겐로쿠 시대 사케 부활 등 독자적인 술을 다수 제조하고 있습니다. 전국 신주 감평회에서 연속 금상을 수상하는 등 품질 평가도 높아지고 있습니다.
