Honjozo Kirinosato uses Matsuyama Mii, an Ehime-origin rice variety, in a classic honjozo from Fumimoto Shuzo in Shimanto Town, Kochi. Kirinosato, meaning 'misty village,' evokes the mountain fog that drifts through the Shimanto River valley surrounding this revived Tosa brewery.
