Hananoharu Genshu is an undiluted sake from Hananoharushuzo in Naruto, Tokushima, bottled at its natural fermentation strength without the addition of water after pressing. The genshu format delivers a fuller body and more concentrated flavor compared to diluted counterparts, reaching an elevated alcohol content of approximately 20%. Its coastal Tokushima origin, near the turbulent tidal whirlpools of the Naruto Strait, lends the brewery a distinctive local identity.
