Hoshiizumi Daiginjo is the flagship prestige release from Maruichi Shuzo in Agui-cho, Aichi Prefecture, a brewery founded in 1917 that has won gold awards at the National New Sake Tasting Competition for eight consecutive years from 2009 to 2016. The name 'Hoshiizumi' (Star Spring) evokes the clarity and purity of the sake's water source in the Chita Peninsula, and the daiginjo expresses a luminous floral fragrance, a silky texture, and a refined, clean finish.
