양조장 소개
다이쇼 5년(1916년)에 창업한 니세코 주조는 '가수 조정을 하지 않은 원주', '물', '공기', '환경'에 철저히 집착하는 양조장입니다. 양조용수로는 니세코 위스산의 설해수와 요테이산에서 솟아나는 '용출수'를 사용하며, 창고는 저온 발효에 적합한 폭설 지대에 자리하고 있습니다. 후카가와산 긴푸 등 홋카이도산 쌀도 많이 사용하며, 현재 국제 스키 리조트로 주목받는 니세코에서 일본 문화와의 융합을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

1916
Niseko Shuzo was founded (operated as an individual proprietorship at the time).
1948
Tanaka Shuzoten Ltd. was established.
1971
The company changed its name from Tanaka Shuzoten Ltd. to Niseko Shuzo Ltd., with Minato Mizuguchi becoming president.
1980
The first Jizake Niseko Kai (local sake fan club event) was held.
2011
The brewery won its first gold medal at the Sapporo Regional Taxation Bureau's new sake competition.
2015
The brewery shifted to using 100% Hokkaido-grown rice for all of its production.
2018
Annual production volume exceeded 80,000 bottles.
2024
The brewery received the Hokkaido Industrial Contribution Award.
