  1. 1550The Konishi family began brewing sake.
  2. 1635Named the brand 'Shirayuki' (White Snow).
  3. 1893Exhibited at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
  4. 1933Konishi Shuzo Co., Ltd. was incorporated.
  5. 1963Completed the sake industry's first four-season brewing plant.
  6. 1995Opened the Shirayuki Brewery Village Choju-gura.
  7. 2020Recognized as part of a Japan Heritage site; marked the 470th anniversary of its founding.
