Kan Nihonkai est l'étiquette phare d'une brasserie fondée en 1888 sur le littoral de la mer du Japon à Hamada, à l'ouest de Shimane. Utilisant du Gohyakumangoku cultivé sous contrat avec les agriculteurs locaux de Yasakacho, la gamme se distingue par une finale propre et sèche sur tous les grades, du daiginjo au junmai.
