El arroz Saka Homare, una variedad desarrollada durante una década por la prefectura de Fukui específicamente para la elaboración de sake premium, se utiliza al 100 % en este daiginjo junto con la levadura FK801 desarrollada localmente y el agua de manantial del sistema Hakusan. La cervecería más antigua de la prefectura de Fukui, fundada en 1716, elabora íntegramente con ingredientes de origen local.
