Hibabijin Honjozo wird von Hibabijin Shuzo in Shobara, Präfektur Hiroshima, hergestellt, benannt nach dem malerischen Hiba-Berggebiet im Chugoku-Hochland. Als honjozo hellt eine dosierte Zugabe von destilliertem Alkohol das Aroma auf und verfeinert den Abgang, was einen sauberen, vielseitigen sake ergibt, der sowohl warm als auch kalt serviert werden kann.
