From the brewery
Yoshidaya was founded in Taisho 6. It was 100 years in 2017. It is located in Ariya Town, located in the southern part of the Shimabara Peninsula, known for its famous water. Use the water of the well -owned well, where the underground water of Unzen springs out, is used for water. Nowadays, we are squeezing sake with the less number of "onion squeezed" techniques. In addition, we use flower yeast separated from flowers. The production volume is 90 stones and small sake breweries, but we will continue to challenge various things in the future with the "that can be done".

History
1843
Kojina Yukishige, the 8th head of the main family, inherited the household and renamed himself Yoshida Kosuke.
1863
The family began a wax-pressing business.
1870
Acquired a 150-koku sake brewing license from Ichibei Kataoka of Urakami village, Nagasaki, and began the long-desired sake business.
1917
Chiyokichi Yoshida, the 9th head of the main family, founded 'Sake Brewing Yoshidaya'. The first year's brew of 300 koku found almost no buyers.
1922
The brand name, originally 'Chiyogiku', was found to be already trademarked, so it was renamed 'Bansho' and newly registered.
1944
The brewery and residence were damaged by a direct bomb hit during a WWII air raid; after repairs, brewing resumed.
1947
The business was reorganized into a limited partnership company (goshi gaisha).
