Senshin

Senshin is a top-tier offering from Asahi-Shuzo Sake Brewing in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, a brewery founded in 1830 that also produces the celebrated Kubota series. Brewed from locally grown Takanenishiki rice milled to 28 percent, Senshin is aged slowly until the brewery's brewers judge it to have reached peak maturity, yielding what the brewery describes as a sake of sophisticated mind with a mellow, refined, and exceptionally smooth character. It represents one of the rarest releases in the Asahi-Shuzo portfolio, positioned above the Kubota label in prestige.
