Ozenoawayuki is produced by Ryujin Shuzo in Tatebayashi, Gunma, a brewery founded in 1597, and the brand name evokes the melting snow of the Oze highland wetlands in northern Gunma. Nearly all expressions in the range are brewed to junmai daiginjo standards, a level of quality the brewery applies as its baseline rather than as a premium tier. The sake style aims for rich fruit character, soft acidity, and rice-derived sweetness, and the brewery operates its own rice-polishing facility alongside extensive refrigerated storage and thermal tanks.
