Miyoshi

Abunotsuru Shuzo, the brewery behind Miyoshi sake, was founded in 1897 in Yamaguchi Prefecture but entered a long dormant period before being revived by sixth-generation brewer Ryutaro Miyoshi, who restarted production after a 34-year hiatus. Following the revival, the brewery earned multiple domestic and international awards and launched the MIYOSHI HANA series in 2020, a five-year blending experiment that refines sake across vintages using the Aizaki Jozo method. The brewery uses 100% Yamadanishiki rice throughout its range, with expressions available as namanama, namazume, and hi-ire styles.
