Mitsutake Shuzojo, founded in 1688 in Hizen Hamajuku (Kashima City, Saga Prefecture) on the shores of the Ariake Sea, has spent more than 330 years in a district historically recognized as one of Saga's major sake-producing corridors. Under the 14th-generation president, the brewery operates with a team of just six, guided by the belief that brewing sake is developing people. Kinpa is one of the brewery's primary sake brands, produced alongside the Mitsutake label, with the brewery also recognized for gold medals at the International Wine Challenge and a diversifying product range that includes shochu and gin.
