Okadaya Honten was established in 1877 in Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, with the brand name Kikuyasaka chosen to express a wish for Japan's lasting prosperity. The brewery focuses on all three pillars of sake production, rice, koji, and water, with a philosophy centered on making meals more enjoyable through sake. Its lineup ranges from traditional junmai varieties to locally inspired products such as yuzu-flavored sake and shochu made with regional ingredients.
