Enasan is produced by Hazama Shuzo (also written Hazama Shuzo KK), a brewery with over 200 years of history in Nakatsugawa, Gifu Prefecture, situated at the foot of Mount Ena whose subterranean runoff provides the brewing water. The brewery relaunched under a new management structure in 2016 as an all-junmai producer, committing to small-batch, hands-on brewing that reflects the clarity of its mountain water source.
