Produzido em Kyotango, norte da Prefeitura de Quioto, por uma kura fundada na era Enkyo (1744), este sake utiliza água da nascente do Rio Ugawa e tem o Gohyakumangoku como arroz principal. A linhagem de toji da kura remonta à tradição de fabricação de sake da região de Tango.
