Abekan Jummaiginjo Asahi TAKO Label

Abekan Jummaiginjo Asahi TAKO Label
Description

The Asahi TAKO Label is a collaboration release from Abekan Shuzo in Shiogama, Miyagi, bearing label artwork featuring an octopus (tako), a marine reference that nods to Shiogama's identity as one of Tohoku's foremost fishing ports and the site of one of Japan's largest tuna auction markets. Polished to 55% as a junmai ginjo, the sake follows Abekan's house style: clean, precise, and built for the table, reflecting the same guiding principle behind the brewery's three-hundred-year relationship with Shiogama Shrine and its coastal community. The TAKO label positions this as a regional expression deliberately connected to the port city's seafood culture, sake brewed in sight of the fishing boats and auction halls where fresh fish moves before dawn.
