Sakae Junmai Ginjo

🍶
Description

Sakae Junmai Ginjo (榮, meaning 'prosperity' or 'flourishing') is brewed by Hananotsuyu Co., Ltd. in the Jojima district of Kurume, Fukuoka, a sake-producing area with over 400 years of brewing history using locally grown Yamadanishiki rice. The brewery, established in 1745, crafts this junmai ginjo with the smoothed water characteristic of Jojima-area production, producing clean, fruity aromatics with the rounded softness that defines Fukuoka's brewing tradition. The name 榮 echoes the long flourishing of the Jojima brewing culture that anchors this expression.
