Hatsusakura Shiboritate Namazake is a fresh-pressed, unpasteurized seasonal release from Hatsusakura Brewery in Katsuragi Town, Wakayama. Brewed in the winter pressing season using locally grown rice and clear spring water from the Izumi-Katsuragi mountains, it captures the bright, youthful character of newly made sake with a fresh aroma and lively, slightly sweet palate.

Our company is located on the banks of the Kinokawa, which is familiar in the novel of Ariyoshi Koyama, designated as a World Heritage Site, and is said to have carried a sake barrel on the back of the horse to Mt. Koyasan. Hannya -yu is a liquor that is drunk at the temple. Junmai Ginjo Koyasan "Saint" Hanwakayu is a "special Koyasan local sake" made in the underground water at the foot of Koyasan, which was designated as a World Heritage Site in July 2004.
