Honjozo Okinoshima is brewed by Katsuya Shuzo in Munakata, Fukuoka, a small four-person kura situated at the foot of Shiroyama mountain. The jikomi water incorporates a portion of sacred water from Munakata Grand Shrine's Ama no Manai spring, producing a clean, refreshing sake that drinks without heaviness.
