Description
Heisei 1nen Jozo Junmai Ginjo Koshu is a long-aged koshu brewed in 1989 (the first year of the Heisei era) by Kameda Shuzo Co., Ltd in Chiba Prefecture. Extended aging of decades has deepened the color and flavor, developing oxidative, nutty, and caramel-like complexity far beyond a typical junmai ginjo, making this vintage sake a rare artifact of Japanese brewing history.

Sake brewing began in this area because of the treasure calendar year (around 1751-1763) by Yamabushi and was offered to God. Since then, traditional sake brewing has been continued for over 250 years, and it has been conveyed today.
