Fukuine junmaishu is brewed by Kataoka Shuzo in Toho Village, Fukuoka, using the Iwaya Spring, a water source designated among Japan's 100 Famous Waters. Produced entirely by hand in the tradition of the Hikosan mountain area, it represents a straightforward, honest junmai suited to everyday drinking.
