Description

Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums and rock sugar are macerated in 1983-vintage aged sake to produce this koshu umeshu, using the same base vintage as the s19216 junmai brewed from Nippon Bare at 60% polish. The finer polish of the base sake lends a slightly cleaner character to the plum liqueur's foundation.
