Wakasa is the flagship sake from KK Wakasafuji in Fukui Prefecture, named after the historical Wakasa province that encompasses this coastal region. Fukui breweries have long drawn on the soft snowmelt water of the Echizen mountains to produce sake with a clean, smooth character.
