1863년 초대 젠키치가 에도 시대부터 이어진 가업을 바탕으로, 양질의 수자원이 풍부한 다케하라를 사케 양조에 적합한 땅으로 보고 양조업을 시작했습니다. 다케하라는 고요한 세토우치 바다를 면하고 옛 일본 건축물이 즐비한 아름다운 거리로 '아키의 고향'으로도 알려진 마을입니다. 지금도 지하수를 수돗물로 사용할 만큼 청정한 수자원이 풍부하며, 풍성한 해산물을 바탕으로 한 풍요로운 식문화가 형성되어 있습니다.
