Gensui Daiginjo Akagawara (Red Tile) is named for the distinctive reddish-tiled rooftops that characterize Kurayoshi's historic merchant district in Tottori. Gensui Shuzo uses Yamada Nishiki polished to daiginjo standards with the soft water of the Hiezu River to produce a sake as refined and historically grounded as Kurayoshi's red-tiled old town.
