Brewed as a junmai in 1988 from Nippon Bare rice polished to 70%, this is the final Showa-era junmai vintage in the series. Long aging in the earthen-walled Gifu storehouse brings a lively acidity to the forefront, making it among the more food-friendly expressions in the lineup, with the brewery specifically pairing it with fried and meat-based dishes.
