Nasu, in northern Tochigi, is known for its clean mountain water and fertile agricultural land, providing quality ingredients for high-grade brewing. The extreme polishing removes outer layers of the rice grain to reveal a concentrated, pure core that ferments into a sake of exceptional delicacy and fragrance.
