- 1844The 4th generation head, Sogen Chugoro, mastered brewing secrets at a sake house in Itami, the birthplace of refined sake.
- 1907Sogen Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. was incorporated, with the 5th-generation Sogen Chugoro as its first president.
