Brewed in Niigata with Mizuhonokagayaki rice polished to 90 percent for the kakemai portion, this muroka nama genshu junmai carries full fruit flavor and pronounced acidity typical of lightly milled rice. At 13 percent alcohol, it has a light effervescence and a rich texture suited to warm weather drinking.
