- 1871Founded in 1871 as a sake shop in Yuriage, then a bustling official port of the Date domain; the trade name "Naminooto" and brand "Hosen Naminooto" were established.
- 2011On March 11, 2011, the brewery was destroyed by the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake; brewing resumed from two tanks that survived by chance.
- 2012On March 11, 2012, began selling "Yuri," bottled from the small amount of sake that survived the disaster.
- 2012In December 2012, began brewing in a temporary factory, said to be the first case of its kind in Japanese brewing history.
- 2017In 2017, as Yuriage's reconstruction progressed, began planning the full rebuilding of the brewery.
- 2018On December 25, 2018, held the ground-breaking ceremony for the new brewery.
- 2019On October 1, 2019 ("Sake Day"), held the opening ceremony of the new brewery, completing full reconstruction.
