Die Brauerei liegt auf der Ostseite von Goto-cho, das in der Feudalzeit ein wichtiger Knotenpunkt des Oshu Kaido war, inmitten sanfter Hügel. Hier nutzt sie den für den Norden typischen Yamase (Nordostwind) sowie das klare, reichliche Weichtwasser aus dem Kuraiido-Brunnen für das Kaltbrauen.
