Founder Otanishi Itaro launched "Junryo Kasutori Shochu," marking the company's founding (Meiji 33).
1961
King Brewing Co., Ltd. was established with 1.2 million yen in capital (October, Showa 36).
1993
Launched the 1.8-liter carton packs of "Banshu Nishiki" (Josen and Kasen grades) in July (Heisei 5).
1993
Completed the Nishiki plant, obtained a sake brewing license, and began sake production (September, Heisei 5).
1994
"Banshu Nishiki" received the Governor's Award (May, Heisei 6).
2000
Celebrated the 100th anniversary of the company's founding (October, Heisei 12).

Completed the Shinzaike plant, a dedicated sake brewery (October, Heisei 20).
