Banshu Nishiki

Kingu Jouzo, founded in 1900 in Inami-cho, Hyogo Prefecture, began as a mirin and shochu brewery before expanding into sake production in earnest in 1993. Banshu Nishiki is crafted in small 500-kilogram batches using 100% locally grown Yamada Nishiki rice from Inami-cho, the heart of Hyogo's premium sake rice belt. The brand aims for an approachable, clean-finishing sake rooted in the Banshu region's agricultural heritage.
