History
1932
In 1932, first-generation brewer Yasuo Kawazu took over an existing sake brewery in Oguni, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture through a business succession, founding the company.
2008
Starting in 2008, the brewery began cultivating the sake rice variety Ippon-jime, using seed rice developed in Niigata Prefecture, in partnership with local contract farmers.
