Sake Brand

Yojiuemon

Named after founder Shibata Yojiuemon, who began selling home-brewed sake in Sapporo in 1872, this brand carries the legacy of the oldest existing sake brewery in Hokkaido. Nippon Seishu Co., Ltd. is the only sake brewery in the Hokkaido capital and operates in a region with fewer than 15 breweries on the island. The Yojiuemon line stands alongside the brewery's flagship Chitosetsuru brand as a tribute to the man who started it all.
