Shiratsuru

Shiratsuru is a brand within the portfolio of Hakutsuru Sake Brewing, the brewery founded in 1743 in the Nada district of Kobe. Hakutsuru is Japan's top-selling sake brand, with a history that includes exhibiting at the 1900 Paris World Fair and pioneering the prepackaged glass bottle for sake in 1878. The brewery brews with Rokko Mountain water and its proprietary Hakutsuru Nishiki rice, developed over eight years by crossing heritage varieties, and exports its full range to 55 countries and regions.
