Sakakimasamune é produzido na Yokouchi Shuzoten em Minami-Alps, Yamanashi, cervejaria fundada em 1872 e situada ao sopé do Monte Kushigatayama. Utilizando água de nascente local e principalmente Yamada Nishiki cultivado em Yamanashi, esta cervejaria produz sake com um umami limpo e encorpado, com final seco.
