Tokubetsuhonjozoshu Kura is a tokubetsu honjozo from the Tamanoharu Factory of Iwate Meijyo in Iwate Prefecture, designated tokubetsu due to either a higher-than-standard rice polishing ratio or the use of a specific rice variety beyond regular honjozo requirements. A small amount of distilled brewing alcohol is added, contributing to a lighter body and cleaner finish. This expression represents an elevated tier within the Kura series from the brewery.
