Senkoma Honjozo uses Ginpuu rice polished to 60% from Senkoma in Fukushima's Shirakawa region. Ginpuu is a Hokkaido-developed sake rice with a firm, clean character, adding distinctive northern-origin grain character to this Fukushima honjozo.
