🍶
Description

Ishichi is a sake from Kumayashuzou in Okayama Prefecture, a region historically important as the origin of Omachi rice, one of Japan's oldest and most celebrated sake rice varieties. Okayama's mild Seto Inland Sea climate and abundant agricultural heritage make it a natural home for quality rice cultivation. This sake carries the quiet pride of Okayama's brewing tradition in its regional identity.

Kumayashuzou Yuugengaisha

Okayama
It was founded by Ichichi Anya, the third generation of the Ihoriya family, around 1716. For about 300 years, only sake has been manufactured and sold. The area around this store has been watched in a sacred temple with a history of over 1,300 years. On the north side of the collection is the Okayama Prefecture designated historic site, Japan Daiichi Kumano Shrine, and in the large precincts, there are six shrines and other shrines on the backdrop of forests, designated as important cultural properties designated by the country and prefecture. There is also a triple tower of the prefecture -designated cultural property. On the south side is the temple of Yamabushi training, and there is Shugendo Gohohonzan Goryu Ryuin. Goryu -ryu Ryuin is also the place of birth of Kojima Takanoku. Kumaya Sake Brewery is trying to make it delicious every day while using 100 % of the sacred water from the back mountain while being watched by this sacred temple. With the excellent brewing technology of the brewer, we have been able to win the Hiroshima National Tax Bureau Extension Prize for four consecutive years. Although it is a small hidden brewery made only by the brewer and family, we are working hard as much as possible.
