Hoshiizumi is the flagship label of Maruichi Shuzo, founded in 1917 on the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture. The name, meaning 'star spring,' was inspired by the well water that reflects the night sky, and the sake is known for its smooth texture and clean, well-balanced finish.
