Higashichita Junmai is a locally focused pure-rice sake from Maruichi Shuzo in Agui-cho on the Chita Peninsula of Aichi Prefecture, celebrating the 'East Chita' terroir from which it springs. Brewed with locally sourced rice and the brewery's clean groundwater, it offers a grounded, honest junmai character with balanced sweetness, moderate body, and a clean finish suited to the fresh seafood and regional cuisine of the Chita Peninsula coast.
